We moved to our new home and set out to make it our own fun space. After much labour and a few choice words, our beautiful custom built brick wall was completed in our living room. Phewf! With that major project completed we set back into creating music.

 Summer found our adventures continuing with Chasing Jesse performing at the Vancouver Island Music Business Conference (VIMBC) and the very great honour of hosting the All Star Concert which included Canadian Music legends such as Dan Hill, Bill Henderson, Patricia Conroy and many more.

 August was a very tender month for Chasing Jesse. Murphy’s heart condition got the better of him and we almost lost our sweet boy just a couple of weeks before his 11th birthday. But thanks to the wonderful care he received from his vets and cardiologist, he was able to celebrate his birthday in style! Complete with a birthday cake and hats, Murphy had a wonderful party and celebrated with two and four legged friends alike!

Fall was a time for more song-writing, rehearsals with the band and house concerts a plenty. We’ve been blessed to write with some fantastic talents and we hope you enjoy the fruits of our labour with our album next year.Here we are at the holiday season and we can’t wait to see what 2012 brings for CJ. We’re excited to be going into the studio in spring and can’t wait to share  the final product with you.
